How do I track vaccine cold chain in Asseto?
Store vaccines in a Refrigerator location, attach a temperature log to that location, and every vaccine lot carries lot number, expiration and current quantity. Alerts fire 60, 30 and 7 days before expiration. For USDA-VS 17-6 rabies and other traceable vaccines, the lot log doubles as the state and USDA compliance record.

Asseto's taxonomy is species-agnostic — items are tagged by usage rather than species. For dosing, quantities are recorded as decimals (e.g. 2.5 mL) rather than per-unit counts. Multi-species practices typically organize by drug class (analgesics, anti-inflammatories, vaccines, wound care) rather than species. Species-specific dosing logic lives in your PMS.
